Note: Overtime (O.T.) is defined as any hours worked beyond a normal 8-hour work day, Monday through Friday, or any hours worked on Saturday. The "holiday" rate applies to Sundays and days recognized by Siemens as holidays.
In addition to travel and on-site labor, charges will include the time necessary for planning meetings, written job plans (if required), preparing and loading equipment for the job, procuring materials, and time spent writing the report. If a report is not necessary, this should be noted to the engineer in charge, to avoid the charge. Time tickets will denote time allotted to preparation, travel and report writing. Invoices will be issued each month for work completed within that period.
Work of 2 calendar days or less will be billed in 4 hour increments; otherwise, actual hours worked will be billed.

TRAVEL TIME
Travel time will be charged from the Siemens (or home in some cases) to the work location at the rates detailed above except where the work location is beyond a 50 mile radius of the engineer or technician's location. In that case, the labor rate per hour for travel time will be $120 S.T. / $165 O.T. for an engineer and $105 S.T. / $120 O.T. for a technician.
EXPENSES
Mileage will be charged at $0.50 per mile (round trip) for cars and vans. Trucks used for delivery of test equipment and materials will be charged at $1.60 per mile (round trip). Motel and meals will be charged at cost plus 20%.
EXTENDED CONTRACTS
An extended service contract may be entered into with the following terms:
3-Month Service Contract $ 3400.00/Month
70 Hours of Engineering straight time to be used at your discretion within a 3 month contract window. Any hours outside of this contract window would be charged at the hourly rate above.
6-Month Service Contract $ 3250.00/Month
150 Hours of Engineering straight time to be used at your discretion within a 6 month contract window. Any hours outside of this contract window would be charged at the hourly rate above.
12-Month Service Contact $ 3,100.00/Month
350 Hours of Engineering straight time to be used at your discretion within a 12 month contract window. Any hours outside of this contract window would be charged at the hourly rate above.
MATERIALS & SUBCONTRACTED SERVICES
Miscellaneous "expendable" and small materials (examples: cleaning materials, hardware, gasket material, nitrogen gas) used in the course of a job will be billed at cost plus 20%.
Services provided by subcontractors will be provided at cost plus 20%.
New equipment and replacement parts will be quoted. |
